I'm Izy Riff, a guitarist, singer, and bassist from Vienna, Austria.

My songs are primarily Rock, with influences from Blues, Heavy Metal, Funk, Soul, and Latin music.

 

Born and raised in the land of Beethoven and Mozart, I was drawn in a different direction early on. I grew up listening to the music of Aerosmith, Guns N' Roses, The Rolling Stones and Jimi Hendrix.​

Later, I became a big fan of artists like King's X, Eric Gales, Johnny "Guitar" Watson, Black Stone Cherry and Santana.

All these different genres have shaped me, and that's how I've developed my own style.

 

With my album "Something of the Acoustic Kind", released in 2022, I captured and concluded the singer-songwriter vibe of my youth and early stage experiences.

Following the singles “High Life (Live Acoustic)” in 2023 and “Let the Sun Shine Again” in 2024, last year I focused entirely on composing new songs, rehearsing with my band and recording in the studio.

 

My new album, "Behind the Black Curtain", will be released in 2026.
